<H3><em>How To Know These Things Are True...</em></H3>
<p>Fortunately, you don't need to take anyone's word for what has been shared here. You can go directly to Heavenly Father in prayer and ask for yourself. No middle man. No deceit. No doubt. You call - He answers. Prayer is the one pure channel of communications between you and God. While prayer is your way of speaking directly to Heavenly Father, God's way of speaking to you comes through the influence of the Holy Ghost.</p>

<p><b>Prayer</b></p>
<p>Prayer is a solemn request or expression of thanks to God. It is formal and dignified, not chatty or casual; Prayer is serious, characterized by a deep sincerity. You are talking to the God of all there is. He knows things about you that you don't know about you.</p>
<p>You must always pray with real intent. Be specific when you pray. Being specific helps you recognize answers to your prayers. Heavenly Father knows what you need better than you do and before you do. But, if you aren't specific in your prayers, there will be a tendency to dismiss the answers as chance. Clear and specific requests help you recognize clear and specific answers. Otherwise you might be careless and dismiss the Lord's hand in your life by assuming things to be coincidental and would have worked out in your favor anyway.</p>
<p>If you haven't had any experience with prayer, follow these simple steps.
<ol>
<li>Address Him directly, but reverently, by name - "Heavenly Father". Always remember who you are talking to...
<li>Thank Him for your blessings. With very little effort, this could take some time...
<li>Talk to Heavenly Father about things that are troubling you. Ask for the blessings you desire and the help you need. This is a special time and if you listen, you will feel the Holy Ghost prompting you as to what to ask for...
<li>Close your prayer "...in the name of Jesus Christ" and conclude with "Amen". It is only by and through His Atoning Sacrifice that you are able to approach the throne of God...
<li>Now Listen...

<p><a onmouseover="Tip('Matthew 18: 16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more,<br>that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.', BALLOON, true, ABOVE, false, CENTERMOUSE, true, OFFSETX, 0, PADDING, 8)" onmouseout="UnTip()">Listen with your heart and your mind. They work in conjunction with each other to help you know the will of the Lord. God always provides more than one witness of the truth. If your mind says one thing and your heart says another, you still have work to do. When your heart and mind agree with each other, if the answer is correct, you will <em>"feel"</em> it. Feelings are the language of the Spirit. The feeling you get is confirmation that your heart and mind have the answer. Without the "feeling", you need to begin again.</a></p>
<p>Remember to trust Him. He loves you. He will answer. It may not be the way you expect or want, but He will answer; in His own due time and in His own way. Patience is often part of our test. Patience requires faith and faith requires patience.</p>

<p><b>Holy Ghost</b></p>
<p>The primary mission of the Holy Ghost, is to testify that Jesus is the Christ. You will receive a Testimony that Jesus is The Christ, when the Holy Ghost confirms that knowledge to you, <em>spirit to spirit</em>. With that knowledge, <a onmouseover="Tip('God said: And in nothing doth man offend God, or against none is his wrath kindled, save those who confess<br>not his hand in all things, and obey not his commandments. And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost. This is Personal Revelation. When the Holy Ghost confirms the truth of something personally, you will know in your heart and in your mind, whether or not it is true. A peace will come over your mind and a comfort in your heart. <p>The Holy Ghost will lead you to the Savior, but will not compel you. The Holy Ghost is a still small voice. You must listen carefully for his promptings. If you heed those promptings when he comes, eventually he will stay and become a constant companion.</p>
