<h3><em>My Testimony...</em></h3>
<p>Douglas L. Callister recently said, "The testimony of others may initiate and nourish the desire for faith and testimony, but eventually <em><b>every individual must find out for himself</b></em>. When a testimony has been realized, there is a burning urge on the part of the possessor to bear that testimony to others." Here are the testimonies of a few people who have had that burning.</p>

<p>I know God lives. He is our Father in Heaven. Jesus is the Christ, the literal Son of God. My Savior. Our Savior. I've learned these things through the Scriptures (both ancient and modern), as well as from the words of Living Prophets, Apostles. But, mostly I know from personal revelation manifest by the power of the Holy Ghost.</p>
<p>I am a child of God. You are a child of God. He loves us, dearly. He wants you to know these things, so you can find your way back to him. You can know these things are true, if you will just ask the Lord yourself. Pray to him directly and don't be afraid.</p>
<p>Follow the promptings of the Holy Ghost and you will learn the truth of these things for yourself. Again, I testify that these things are true and do so with all my love, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.</p>

<p>God has given me a witness that He lives. He is our Heavenly Father. His son, Jesus Christ lives and this means that I can pray to my Father in Heaven and receive personal help from him through Christ's Infinite Atonement. It gives such an invaluable spark to my everyday life knowing that I am His son and that He cares and wants to provide for me.</p>
<p>My witness came over following the counsel of Christ when he said: "If any man will do (the Father's) will, he shall know of the doctrine" [St John 7: 17]. As I have done God's will, this doctrine has been made known to me as promised. It has come and will continue to come as I follow His teachings.</p>
<p>The promise applies to all who will simply DO His will; read the scriptures, pray, have faith, repent, be baptized and so on. "You shall know" for yourself.</p>
